Tasu gave me an interesting tip. I wanted to find out if the light in the boot/trunk of my car was staying on after I closed it. I was doing this to check if the sensor for the light was malfunctioning. I was just about to ask Anz to jump in the trunk so I could close it and she could tell me if the light was on. I did not have to do that…Just switch on video recording on your phone and then place it in the trunk. Take it out in a minute and you should be able to tell if the light switched off when you closed the trunk.
Something is draining my battery

What the hell is wrong with all these drivers who conveniently take the closed off lanes and drive at ridiculously fast speeds while me and hundreds of motorists wait patiently for the to move forward. They are building a highway across that road and there is major construction going on. We are in busy times and if the government chose the wrong time to start with the construction then what can we do? Have a little patience I guess. I can understand if there is a real emergency but at the rate I see motor vehicles passing through the closed lane is far from an emergency. These guys are like monkey’s (monkey see monkey do) and sheep (sheep all follow one another). Worst is these monkey/sheep wait until the yellow cones have them completely blocked and suddenly cut in front of you as if they have right of way.
Tracking devices, just a thought

Did you think in car tracking devices were just for your safety? A typical scenario, you buy a second hand motor car, you are a model citizen and one day the law or typically a company needs to check on your movements because they suspect that you may be a member of Al-Qaida. Up to now you did not apply for a tracking device simply beacuse you cannot afford it. However the old owner also had a tracking device installed into the car you bought and he also cancelled due to financial reasons. You frequent Masjids and religious institutions for your own personal upliftment. My question is: how easy is it for the authorities to contact all the tracking device companies and ask them activate it as they are investigating an international terrorist group? Once its activated and your movements are monitored I would say most likely I would be sending my next letter to you in Guantanamo Bay!!!!

I have been trying for the last three months to get a shot of the moon but I had all my camera settings mixed up. This is my first attempt as a beginner. Some info on this photo. Taken from the southern part of Johannesburg. Date is the 14th September 2008. The moon is in the North East and approx angle of shot is 30 degrees.
